Push Notifications: Which plugin to use?

I have a phonegap build with framework 7 / vue.

I’ve been asked to add push notifications within the app - is there a recommended plugin for using with Firebase Cloud Messaging?

Or are there other push providers that I should be considering?

I have been using Onesignal for years and really like their service. They are free for most use cases.
